9 years ago . . .

9 years ago, our lives were blessed by this . . .

And 9 years later, our lives are even more blessed with this . . .
Happy 9th Birthday Angel Bug!
(I love Carsyn's face in this one!)
Camryn is such an amazing kid that we could go on and on about all the things we love about her, but since it's her 9th birthday, we'll list the top 9 things that we love the most!

1. She is the most compassionate person ever! She worries about everyone's feelings and is always watching out for the underdog!
2. She has a beautiful spirit and understands so much about life!
3. She makes friends everywhere she goes!
4. She LOVES all animals, and would give every stray a home if we let her!
5. She has a gift with small children and babies, and is already a great babysitter!
6. She is talented in so many ways - our favorites are her singing, drawing and swimming!
7. She loves to hug and be loved!
8. She tries her very hardest in all she does. She likes to make Mom and Dad proud!
9. She is a great example to those around her, especially her little sisters!

We love you Camryn!

Boating

We got invited to go boating with the awesome Mr. Whitby, so we drug our good friends, Jayna and Clint, with us! We had a RIOT, or in the words of Rhylan, "Boo-YAH fun!" Thanks Dave!

Bowling

Thanks for letting us be part of your birthday fun Rhy! We had a blast!

Splash Park

We had a blast at the new splash park! Who can resist water and free entertainment on a hot summer day?!

New 'Do's

I have to admit that a part of me lives vicariously through my daughters' beautiful hair. Seeing as how I was blessed with fine, thin hair that does nothing and has never been what I would consider long, Camryn's hair, especially, is like my dream come true! I about died when she asked to have it all cut off . . . until I realized how many inches of hair had turned green from the chlorine this year . . . on all three of my girls! Thanks to the amazing Krista, we now have gorgeous new 'do's at our house, no more green - and we are loving it! I just can't get over how old they all look!

Not the best shot of Ty - but the before picture of her hair
Who needs a dog - we could have made our own!

Carsyn (always being SO cooperative) and her cute new look!

Three cute - and very happy girls! (This is Carsyn's happy face - you couldn't tell?! :))

Good News

I'm not much in the blogging mood lately, so I'll bore you with a million posts later . . . but I do have good news! The bunk bed is sold (it took three days!), and we are in re-decorating mode (yes, AGAIN!)! Pictures and updates to come soon! Thanks for all of your help!

For Sale

(View of the upper bunk)
Okay blogger friends, I need your help. My dad made this adorable bunk bed for my girls a couple of years ago, and unfortunately, we have officially outgrown it. It's time to sell it, so if you happen to know of anyone who wants this, please pass the information along! It retails for about $1500.00 in the store. We would like to get about $600-$700 out of it. It is in almost perfect condition and is made out of very high quality materials - all wood, no plastic! It can be painted to match any color scheme, and has a very roomy five drawer dresser built in, as well as two cubbies with lots of space for storage. It can fit a twin mattress vertically on top, and can accommodate a twin or a full mattress on the bottom (mattresses not included). My dad spent hours and hours building this and put a lot of time and thought into it, which means it's not only well built, but very child-proof! We have loved it, but we are transitioning to "older girl" styles! It's also listed on KSL if you know of anyone who might be interested! Thanks!

Freedom Run

(Yes, we are incredibly red and SWEATY!!! Yummy!)
My sweet friend, Jill, and I decided last minute to run the Provo Freedom 10K this year! It is a great way to ring in the 4th of July! It is a hard course (mostly uphill), but a lot of fun - and even better when you have friends pushing you! I didn't do as well this year as I did last year, but I guess everyone has to have a down day! Our official time was 48:48, which put us at a 7:52 pace. There were over 1300 runners, which was crazy, but awesome to see so many people out running the streets of Provo! Hopefully this will be a tradition that we'll be able to keep going for a long time!

July 4th - the lame way!

This is how you celebrate the 4th when you're totally lame! (And it's not because of you Mom and Dad! :)) I ran the Freedom 10K in the morning, and I was worn out by 7:00 that night! I must have worn off on everyone from the looks on their faces! We were completely content to let Rod light a few fireworks in the middle of the road and call it a night! Camryn's tongue was definitely the highlight of our day!
