Old Lady Paddleboarding Day!

We might be old, but we're still cool.  At least in our own minds, we are!

This cute group of friends and I headed up to Tibble Fork Reservoir for a fun day of paddle boarding and playing! What a beautiful place!

AF Half 2017

I am so proud of Rod today! We hardly ever see each other anymore, so he decided to join me in training for the AF half (even though running is not his favorite thing). He ran an awesome race and PR'd by 12 minutes from his last half! It always makes me an emotional wreck to see my dad at the end. Cancer sucks.

So fun to have Rod at the top with me!  It was COLD though!

It was clearly NOT cold at the finish! Look at how sweaty Rod and I were!

57 out of 306 in my age group

193 out of 1290 females

413 out 1971 overall

8:12 min/mi

Final time was 1:47:33.

Moab

We got to go on another super fun trip to Moab with WCF! 

We stayed in the Red Cliff Lodge again (my favorite)!

Instead of 4-wheelers, they took us on a hummer tour. It was a fun thing to do - once!

The Colorado River looked muddy, but it's still such a cool view from the top!

There were a lot of us!

Rod and I did some hiking after the tour - I think this is one of the few times we haven't hiked to Delicate Arch, but it was so fun to see some other things in Moab!

We found the road where you could actually see Delicate Arch from the back.  That was pretty cool! 

We got to do our favorite white water rafting down Westwater Canyon again!

It just never gets old! The rapids are so fun, the guides are a blast, we always see bald eagles, and being on the river all day is Heaven!

I always think I want long hair until I look back at these -I'm afraid I'm a pixie girl for life!
