Dinosaur Museum
Our Thanksgiving Point Pass was one of the best things we did for ourselves this year!
These cute little munchkins had a blast playing inside while it was horrible weather outside!

Conversations with a Four Year Old
My little Tyleigh is a thinker - and a talker (at home anyway). We had several very profound conversations today, three of which still have me smiling . . .
(Out of the blue . . . )
Ty: We still like bees huh mom.
Me: We do?
Ty: Yeah, because they make us honey and stuff. But we don't like it when they stung us.
Me: Hmmm, we don't like it when they sting, you're right. But they only sting us if we bother them or if we're mean to them.
Ty: Yeah, like when we SMOOSH them. 'Cause they know. When we lift our foot and then we smoosh them, that's when they sting us, huh mom!
(In regards to my constant construction zone)
Me: Dad's in trouble Ty. He made a mess!
Ty: Yeah, 'cause this is YOUR house, huh Mom!
Me: Yeah . . .
Ty: No, actually, it's the bank's. You gotta pay them A LOT of money, huh Mom!
(Scary that my 4 year old already gets this!)
(Sorry for this one Jayna, but you are a hot topic at our house!)
Ty: Mom, you should have a baby so I can feed it a bottle.
Me: Maybe we can just borrow one of Jayna's babies when they get here.
Ty: Mom, why did Jesus put three babies in Jayna's tummy? 'Cause when he only puts one in, your tummy doesn't have to get too, too big. But when he puts three in at the same time, your tummy has to get REALLY, REALLY big, huh Mom! Do you think that hurts?

"A Mommy Moment . . ."
I didn't think that when the day actually came that I would feel sad, but I'm having one of those darn ol' "mommy moments!" My baby is going to Kindergarten! We picked up her registration papers today, and it hit me for real that my little shadow will be no more! My little family is growing up so fast! Good thing so many of you are having babies . . . I'll be by to borrow them this Fall! :) Love you Ty! Sunday, February 15, 2009
Yeah . . . He's lost it!
For your humor only . . . My husband has officially gone insane! Nothing more needs to be said . . .

How to Maintain A Healthy Level of Insanity . . .
To Maintain A Healthy Level Of Insanity -- to get through every day:1. At Lunch Time, Sit In Your Parked Car With Sunglasses on and Point a Hair Dryer at Passing Cars. See If They Slow Down.
2. Page Yourself Over The Intercom. Don't Disguise Your Voice!
3. Every Time Someone Asks You To Do Something, ask If They Want Fries With That.
4. Put Decaf In The Coffee Maker For 3 Weeks . Once Everyone has Gotten Over Their Caffeine Addictions, Switch to Espresso.
5. In the Memo Field Of All Your Checks, Write ' For Marijuana.'
6. Skip down the hall Rather Than Walk and see how many looks you get.
7. Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat, with a serious face.
8. Specify That Your Drive-through Order Is 'To Go'.
9. Sing Along At The Opera.
10. Five Days In Advance, Tell Your Friends You Can't Attend Their Party Because You have a headache.
11. When The Money Comes Out of The ATM, Scream 'I Won! I Won!'
12. When Leaving the Zoo, Start Running towards the Parking lot, Yelling.... 'Run For Your Lives! They're Loose!'
13. Tell Your Children Over Dinner, 'Due To The Economy, We Are Going To Have To Let One Of You Go.'
And The Final Way To Keep A Healthy Level Of Insanity
14. PICK UP A BOX OF CONDOMS AT THE PHARMACY, GO TO THE COUNTER AND ASK Where THE FITTING ROOM IS.
No, I didn't think of these myself - however, I may try a few out! Hope it brightened your winter day!
Husband TAG
1. Were you High School Sweethearts? Nope.2. How did you meet? How long do you all have?!? If you really want the cool story, ask in person, but otherwise, we'll just leave it at we met at college.
3. What did you do on your first date? We went to St. George and watched Les Miserables and had dinner at Chile's. I've never laughed so much in all my life!
4. Was he your first love? No.
5. Were you his first love? Nope.
6. How long did you date? About a year
7. Did you break up at all? Yep, he broke up with me (I will not tell you his reason because I don't want to end up on the couch tonight like Lindsay).
8. Who said I love you first? Rod did - right after I gave him all the reasons in the world as to why he should hate me, not date me, and take a hike.
9. Who proposed and how? Rod did - on the top of the beautiful Angel's Landing in Zion's. The ring fell out of the box, and almost rolled off the cliff. It was the same spot that he first told me he loved me. (AAAWWWW!)
10. Who drives when you are together? Rod always drives. He claims he gets carsick - or maybe it's because I'm just such a good driver! Besides, he has an unbelievable sense of direction and never gets us lost!
11.Who's smarter? I'm more book smart, but Rod probably has more common sense.
12. Worst temper? Hmmmm, this one's a toss up! I'm definitely more high strung and intense, but when Rod blows, he blows BIG!
13. Who watches more TV? Is this even necessary to answer?! Sorry babe, but you do like your sports!
14. Who's funnier? Definitely Rod. I once dated a guy who told me I'm not funny at all . . .
15. Who takes longer to get ready? Me
16. More stubborn? ME!
17. Who is more adventureous? Depends. Rod's usually up for a good adventure, but I like to thing that I'm more daring.
18. How long have you been married? Almost 10 years.
19. Who cooks? 50/50 . I hate making big meals, and would much rather eat cereal. If he wants red meat, he cooks.
20. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Rod, so that I can hear the alarm on the left side.
21. Who has more friends? I do. Rod thinks I talk to everyone - and talk too much to everyone! He even warns people that run by me in my races that I will talk their ear off!
I tag Angie, Shellee, Jamie, Jill, Leesa, Jayna (it will entertain you Jayna!) and anyone else who wants to tell all about their special Valentine!
I love you Rod! You will always be my greatest blessing!

Little Miss Smarty Pants
I just have to share how proud I am of all my girls, but Camryn in particular today. She qualified for the school Spelling Bee, and today was the big day! She was SOOOO nervous, but she gave it her best, and I am so proud of her for that! She had to compete against all grades in front of the whole school - which was a LOT of pressure! She didn't win a trophy today, but she is definitely a winner in my book just for making it that far! Way to go Camryn!
