Winnie the Pooh

Tyleigh got to be in her first play at the Lehi Arts Center this Fall.
She was just a little bit too young to do the play with the older girls,
so I worried that she would be too shy to do it by herself. She proved me wrong!

She was the cutest bee ever in Winnie the Pooh, and had
such a great time being a part of the play!

The cute cast!

Old Goat

Happy Birthday Rod!

For Rod's birthday this year, he got a . . . goat.

A. Real. Live. Goat.

Poor guy!  I thought I was being all cute by posting
pictures of him on facebook all day.  That irritated him
half to death.

Then our friends called and asked me to get him out of the house.
I had NO idea why, but agreed to it anyway.

Not long after we left with the kids, we got a phone call
from the same friends to hurry home.

Still NO clue as to why.

And then we pulled up to this . . .

A STINKY, SCREAMING BILLY GOAT!

This guy SCREAMED for hours on end.
Everyone on our street came out to see why.
It sounded like we were castrating or sacrificing him -
or both at the same time.

We had no idea what to do with him.
So, Carsyn attempted to take him for a walk.

Did I mention that he was also a head-butting billy goat?

The walk didn't last long.

It started getting cold, and the goat would NOT shut up, so Rod called
one of the farmers near our home and asked him to keep him until we could make
other arrangements.  He wasn't so sure it was a good idea,
but his wife talked him into it . . . THANK GOODNESS!

They planned on giving him a home at their son's farm. . .

Unless he became dinner first because of all the noise he made!

Rod got a text . . .
 "Happy Birthday you old goat!"

He had a really swell birthday.

It's all good.
No need to get mad.
We just get even!

It's all in the Family

The girls stayed at Grandma's house for a night . . .

and magically transformed while we were away!

I about died when I realized that this is Tyleigh!!!!

And this, my friends, is my posterity!

I-FLY!

We didn't go anywhere for Fall Break this year . . .
again,
and felt really bad that our kids had to sit home while everyone else was in Disneyland.
So, to make it up to them, we took them
indoor-skydiving!

They had SO much fun!

Getting their jumpsuits on!

Even Tyleigh went!

I LOVE goggle faces!!!

Rod in the flight tunnel!

Camryn in the flight tunnel!

Carsyn in the flight tunnel!

And why do I not have a picture of Tyleigh???

Rod has some great video that I'll be able to add to this one day!

Helmet head is a great look for you Rod!

They did it!!!

Afterwards, we went to the indoor arcade and let the girls ride the bumper cars.

She was after someone - with a vengeance!

And so was she!

I can't decide if he was going in for the kill - or preparing to be hit!

Always smiling!

Cascade Springs, Autumn and Mustaches???

The leaves in the canyons were unbelievable colors this year!
Rod and I don't remember any other Fall season having such brilliant colors!

We decided to take a drive up the canyon before the snow covered everything!

Yes - I realize I am missing a picture of a child.
Seems that it's not fun to have your picture taken when you
are older . . .

Until we busted out the mustaches!

I have no idea why.

We just did . . .

and it was hilarious!

Beautiful!

We hit Cascade Springs along the way . . . along with everyone else in Utah,
which did not leave many opportunities for photos, but you get the gist!

Rivalry

These girls and "Uncle Ken" have quite the rivalry going with the Utes and the Cougars. Ken is a die-hard Cougar fan, and my girls have decided that they are hard-core Ute fans!

They got together with Grandma and attacked Ken's house with
all sorts of Ute stuff after the Utah/BYU game.

Good thing Uncle Ken is such a good sport!
