Seeing Green ...

I have NO idea why we enjoy St. Patrick's Day so much at our house,
but we do!
Maybe we're just trying to catch a little luck of the Irish . . .
or maybe we're just so lucky to have such cute little girls that
we can't help ourselves!

This year, our tricky leprechaun left clues all over our house. He said we'd find him
if we followed all of them. Of course, it was just another one of his tricks, but we were
lucky enough to find a treasure in his place!

Here's to hoping the Leprechaun and the Easter Bunny don't share tips!
(I'm running out of ideas!)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

What a Guy

This guy . . .

Could have been a millionaire.

Seriously. He has crazy amounts of athleticism and talent.

He could have spent every day living in fame and glory,
with women swooning at his feet and screaming his name as he passed by.

But, instead, he married me. The one who COSTS him a million dollars.

And I'm awfully grateful he did. Just sayin'.

Randomness & Confessions . . .

My head is spinning with completely random thoughts today -
so I decided to make a random post about them!

*Girl drama . . . SO over it! Big girl and little girl! We are entering THAT phase of mean notes, back-stabbing, and lots of fights. BLEH! Remember those days?!? (Oh, wait, us girls never seem to grow out of those days do we?) I always hoped it was more than wishful thinking that my girls wouldn't go through "mean girl stuff," but no such luck. Too bad that kid manual they give you when you leave the hospital didn't have a chapter on this stuff! :)

* On the other hand, I am LOVING that Spring is coming! Love that my tulips are
peeking out from the ground, and that green is starting to show up everywhere again! Love that the girls want to be out more than in, and that their cute little cheeks have a hint of life and color in them again! Love that I can run outside in the early mornings and not stay frozen until 2:00 in the afternoon! It does wonders for my mood . . but this year I have an uncontrollable itch. I am dying for a major change of some kind other than the season. Houses, neighborhoods, cars, hair, jobs, legs, diet, clothes, boobs . . . you name it. Cross your fingers I win the lottery soon . . . or I might have to buy myself a puppy! (Yeah, I'm not sure how that's going to solve my problem either, but maybe it'd keep me busy enough not to run away!) Could it just be a bad case of Spring fever??

*I am officially addicted to sugar. Seriously. It's BAD. If there was a sugar addicts rehab group, I would go. I have never eaten so much sugar in my entire life as I have the last few months (hence the five extra pounds around my waist), and I have no idea how to stop craving it (okay, so maybe I have an idea - but definitely no self-discipline). Blast those chocolate Easter candies! Feel free to offer tips here!

*I am hiring a hairdresser to live at my house. One of the first things I'm going to ask the big guy when I die is why he thought I could handle three little girls . . . and three hair-dos every morning. Any takers on the job? I pay in sugar . . . lots of it!

*My teeth make me grumpy. And broke.

*I could go on and on, but I won't - breathe a sigh of relief here.

*Last random thought . . . I love Mother Teresa quotes. My favorite today:

"If you judge people, you have no time to love them."

A good reminder for all of us.
