Tyleigh turned 8 years old this year! A birthday she has been waiting for FOREVER!
It's a birthday we have been excited for as well . . .
but somehow it seems to mark our baby as officially growing up.
When Ty was about 3, she and I made a pact that she would stay my baby
forever, and while I think she will in different ways, this is not what I agreed to!
She has been wanting her very own pair of roller blades for such a long time now!
I think we might have gotten the right gift considering how long she hugged the box!

Somehow, we have started a tradition that we go to
Classic Rollerskating Rink for each girls' 8th birthday.
She has waited forever for her turn to do this, and had so much fun when her day finally came!
Part of the birthday experience at Classic is getting to go in the money box.
Instead of money this time, they used tickets.
They turn on a huge fan inside the box and then the goal is to catch as many
tickets as you can in a certain amount of time.
They count the tickets at the end, and then you get to pick a prize.
Tyleigh hates having attention drawn to her, so this was a little tricky for her to
be in the box with all of Classic watching her!
