Provo Canyon

Ty and I went for a drive up Provo Canyon - it was beautiful! Does the scenery in Utah ever get old?!

Red Pine Lake

I love Red Pine Lake so much that I asked my two favorite people (Rod and Nita) to come with me!

What a great morning in a beautiful place! 

Look at the wildflowers! They were amazing!

Silver Lake (Brighton)

Sometimes you have those Sundays when you just need to get out of the house! Especially during this crazy time of Covid when you can't do much of anything else!

We drove up to Silver Lake in the Brighton ski resort and went for a beautiful walk around the lake! 
It was exactly what each of us needed!

Hiking Mount Timpanogos

Jamie and Nita can talk me into just about anything - 

including getting up at 2:30 in the morning to hike a mountain!

We started our hike in the pitch black. No lights other than our little headlamps. 

I just happened to go first on the trail. I glanced up and my light hit eyes. 

It was a MOOSE! Not something to tangle with in the dark!

We ran back down the trail and waited - it moved - to the other side of the trail!

Haha! I think that was the fastest we moved all day!

The sunrise was gorgeous!

We hiked from the Aspen Grove side - this was a new way for me. I had no idea there were so many waterfalls! It was gorgeous!

The wildflowers were incredible!

We are still awful at selfies. 

When Rod and I hiked, we didn't see a single mountain goat. Today, we saw SO many! 

There were tons of babies and mamas! I could not get over how HUGE they are! From a distance, they looked like polar bears!

I also didn't know about this rock bed. Holy moly. It was challenging to hike through!

The view of Emerald Lake from up high was so pretty!

It's a little lame that the shack has a giant Y on it, but we were sure happy to see it anyway!

These giant pieces of ice were fascinating! 

I hope we never get too old or too far apart to have these adventures together! 

These ladies are such incredible examples in my life and I love them both dearly!
