Moab!

For my birthday this year, Rod planned a little getaway to Moab. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend! We explored places we've never been in Moab before, and while it was SO hot, it was so fun to see different parts of one of my favorite places!

Ken's Lake

Faux Falls

Mill Creek Waterfall

Rod got brave and decided to jump!

Later that night, Tyleigh and her darling friends from Costa Rica joined us in Moab.
We decided to hike Delicate Arch at around 10:30 pm.
It's a whole different experience to hike it in the dark!

Lizzy, Tyleigh and Laney

The stars up at Delicate Arch are always incredible.  There's no light pollution, so you can see the milky way and so many of the constellations!

The next morning, the girls and I went skydiving! It was my 5th time, Tyleigh's 3rd time and Lizzy and Laney's 1st time.

These cute girls were so adventurous and didn't even act nervous!

We made it! Moab will always be one of my most favorite places to jump!

Skydive Moab!

Rod's cousin, Doug, and I joked about skydiving together one day . . .
and then we decided why not make it happen??
He and his darling girlfriend, Marika, met us in Moab to make the jump!
It's officially my favorite place to skydive - so far!
We met late in the afternoon, so we decided to show Doug and Marika some of the well-known places in Moab. Balancing Rock and Delicate Arch!

Delicate Arch is beautiful no matter what time of day it is, but it's extra stunning at sunset!

We had dinner at one of the fun restaurants on Main Street!
The next morning was our jump!
Marika had never been - and was not even nervous!
Doug had gone one other time, and this was my second jump as well.

Dustin was my flight instructor!

Look at that view! It's especially cool upside down!

We were there during the Boogie Fest, which was SO fun! There was such a fun and crazy energy there! Some guy handed Marika a hamburger after she jumped! Haha!

We took Doug and Marika to Corona Arch after our jump. It's another beautiful arch in Moab!

We found dinosaur tracks and petroglyphs! So cool!

We had a blast spending time with Doug and Marika! It was fun to show them around a different part of Utah and do the things we love the most!
