After The Wave, we took the kids over to Lower Antelope Canyon.
I had visited it with friends in February and wanted our family to see it together.
It is such a beautiful and almost reverent place - except that there were waaayyyy too many people there today and it had more of a cattle drive feel to it, which was disappointing.
The canyon itself is still incredible and pictures don't do it justice. I am blown away that we have so many slot canyons that I have never even heard of, and that they look like this!
Lower Antelope Canyon is "owned" by the Navajo people, so you have to use a tour guide to see it - and pay a pretty decent fee and have a scheduled time.
It's crazy to think that this has been formed by millions of years of erosion by wind and water.
It's about 1.1 miles long total.

If you get the right tour guide, he/she will point out different faces in the canyon.
It's pretty fun to see and obvious that they have a lot of pride in their canyon.
There are 130 steps in Lower Antelope Canyon.
