Happenings in October

Here is a quick (picture overload) look at the month of October! Halloween is such a crazy holiday in that it always seems to turn into a month long celebration for us! We had lots of fun with all the madness, sassy-ness and craziness it brought!

We got Be-Witched at Gardner Village (on UEA weekend . . . with all the other millions of people who thought that would be a great way to entertain their kids . . . seriously! Worse than DISNEYLAND!)

We got creative with toilet paper rolls and made treats for lots of our friends!
(Don't laugh - it kept them entertained!)

We celebrated our favorite guy's birthday!
(Don't get used to it, babe!)

My mom spoiled him with the best birthday present ever . . . his very own RED MEAT!
(For those of you who don't know this already, I am NOT a red meat fan, so it's a rare commodity at our house! ) Both Rod and the girls have been in HEAVEN for the last few weeks!

We attended Halloween parties, Trunk-or-Treats, school parades, class parties, and are still sweating out the glorious effects of SUGAR OVERLOAD!

The Mad-Hatter!

The Sassy Fairy
The Mad-Hatter on sugar overload . . .

Thing One and Thing Two!
These girls are so stinkin' cute! They are the very best of friends and could just as easily be twin sisters! They were inseparable all month - "Thing One" would NOT trick-or-treat without "Thing Two" and Vice Versa! They are even in the same class! "Thing Two" is Carsyn's best friend, Belle. Her sweet mom painted their faces at least 8 different times for them to attend different events together! Don't they look great!?!? The best part is that their other great friend at school was the Cat in the Hat! Pretty creative!

The Nice Witch and the Sassy Fairy!

The whole gang getting ready to Trick-Or-Treat . . . in the RAIN!

Nothing - including the rain - could have slowed this cute little witch down this year! She was having a ball!

We finished off a fun night by visiting the annual Halloween display up by my mom and dad's.
The best part? These people don't put up one single Christmas light. EVER.

Happy October from our house to yours!
