The Gem Studio

One of our favorite things to do when we go to the beach is finding unique shells and sea glass.  We have managed to create quite a huge collection of both over the last few years.  We thought it would be fun to do something special with the sea glass, so these sweet girls of mine gave me a day at the Gem Studio for my birthday in July. With such crazy schedules, we had to wait a few months to go so we could all be there, but it was worth the wait! We had such a fun day and made such darling rings! We had the kindest silversmith (Emma) helping us and she made sure our rings turned out perfect!

I loved spending the day with my beautiful girls and love that we all have something special that reminds us of so many fun memories and adventures together!

West Jordan Stampede 2024

Our cute Canada girls wanted to go to a rodeo while they were here visiting this summer.  Vanessa found one to go to in West Jordan - the West Jordan Stampede! We just happened to get tickets on the same night they were recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness and it was a pink out. 

My beautiful sister, Traci, was diagnosed with breast cancer this year, so this meant a lot to all of us. 

We all showed up in pink to honor her and to support those going through this awful disease. 

Camryn and Brantson went up and spent the day with Kaylee, Claire and Lexie to make shirts for the rodeo.  They turned out so cute!

Spaghetti Factory and Fireflies!

It's a tradition to go to Spaghetti Factory when our cute Canada cousins come into town! 

It's crazy how much these girls have all grown up!

Beautiful Claire and Camryn look the most alike of the girls, expect that Claire is going to be taller than all of us in no time!

We try to find unique things to do while they are here - so we drove to Park City because we heard there was a firefly festival! We didn't even know we had fireflies in Utah!

We found ONE firefly. It was hilarious! We all had a good laugh about it and a great time together!

Saying Goodbye to Our Fur Babies

Saying goodbye is so hard. These sweet cats have been a huge part of our family for 16 years. 

They were orphaned at only 5 weeks old and have literally grown up with our girls. 

They will be so missed.

Days of 47 Rodeo

Our cute Canada girls really wanted to go to a rodeo while they were here visiting.  The one night we got tickets for was the one night it POURED - and I mean, really POURED! 

We had a great time anyway!

Salt Lake City Bees!

WCF gave us another fun night at the ballpark! 

We love sitting in their suite and even got a fun visit from Bumble!

 

Midway Ice Castles

We decided it was time to see the Midway Ice Castles! They were incredible! 

We may have picked the COLDEST night to go though! -2 degrees!!!

All of the sculptures were incredible!

It's amazing to think this is all handmade!

The changing lights behind the ice were so beautiful in the dark!

One room made our teeth glow and we could not stop laughing!

We love these memories and adventures with our kids!
