Our last day on this beautiful island!
One last picture of the resort and our views!
One bummer about flights out of Hawaii is that they are red eyes - but you have to check out of the hotel by 11. We decided to finish exploring until we had to go to the airport.
We went over to Pa'ia Town and walked through all of their fun stores!
We went back over to Ho'okipa Beach and watched the surfers again - they are amazing!
And of course the sea turtles . . .
I was impressed at how closely the lifeguard paid attention!
Some of the wall art over in Pa'ia.
Rod and I both really wanted to see surfers at Pe'ahi. We've heard so many crazy things about Jaws! We drove over to see it, but it was flat! The locals told us it wouldn't be big for at least another month or two, but when it comes, the waves can be over 60 feet tall! It would have been SO cool to see!
We stopped at a couple of local shops on the way back and found these surf boards all lined up.
These kinds of things always just remind us of our girls!
It has been such an amazing trip and walk down memory lane! We've also made so many fun new memories! As always, I feel so grateful to live in such a beautiful world and to have such an incredible person by my side to experience these adventures with! I can't wait to bring the girls here some day!
