20 Years Old!

Happy 20th Birthday to our beautiful Carsyn!

20 things to love about Carsyn: 

•Carsyn’s smile can light up a room!

•She loves all things fitness, especially cute workout clothes

•She is incredibly competitive!

•She loves the beach!

•She loves animals, especially her dogs!

•She loves steak, fruit and vegetables

•She is my only kiddo with green eyes

•She has to be busy all of the time!

•She was born determined!

•She has an amazing laugh, and an even more amazing ability to laugh at herself!

•She has developed a love for fishing

•She LOVES candy!

•She loves shoes and has since she was tiny.

•She worships the sun and has the best tan in the summer!

•Carsyn is our personal stylist at home. She has a great fashion and design sense!

•She loves to travel!

•When she was little, she wanted to be called Bubba!

•She is quick to forgive and move on

•She adds a lot of excitement and adventure to our family, is beautiful inside and out, and is loved so much!

Team Hike to Silver Lake

Tyleigh's coach, KT, asked Mika's mom, Paula, and I to help come up with some team-building activities the girls could do before the season started. We decided to take the girls on a hike up to Silver Lake in American Fork Canyon. 

It was so fun to spend the day with these girls!

Tyleigh and Aeyan jumped right in the lake - it was FREEZING! 

It's all run-off water from a glacier, so it does not warm up!

Tyleigh decided to swim out to this rock . . .

And somehow talked more and more of her teammates into doing the same . . . 

We saw these mountain goats at the end of our hike! It was an amazing morning!

Camryn is 21!!!

21 years ago, my beautiful Camryn made me a mom . . . and today she is an ADULT!

Happy 21st birthday to our creative, talented, kind-hearted girl!

Rod is a Spartan!

The guys at Rod's office aren't just co-workers, they are friends. One of their co-workers/friends, Trevor, has gone through a pretty tough time this year. He has had to overcome a lot! He wanted a goal to work toward, so the guys at the office decided to do a Spartan Race.  Not just any Spartan - The Beast.  This is one of the hardest levels of the Spartan, It's a 21K race with 30 obstacles in Snowbasin, Utah. 

Camryn, Brantson, and I went up to support them. 

The whole place was buzzing when we got there!

We were so excited when we finally saw Rod coming down the hill! 

It was SO hot and while he looked strong, he also looked miserable.

He was so exhausted by this point, but he gave it everything he had!

Seeing Rod and Trevor at the finish line was pretty emotional.

These guys conquered something incredibly hard and you could just feel how proud they were of each other and of themselves! We are so proud of all of you too!
